What personal information we collect

- Name, email address, and phone number — when you submit an inquiry to a psychologist through our site
- Postcode — to help find psychologists near you
- Scheme information — which funding scheme you are covered under (Medicare, DVA, NDIS, WorkCover, TAC)
- Message content — any information you choose to include in your inquiry message to a psychologist
- Usage data — pages visited, search filters used, and how you interact with the site
We do not collect sensitive health information beyond what you voluntarily include in your inquiry message.

We collect your information to:
- Connect you with a psychologist who matches your needs
- Facilitate your inquiry to the psychologist you select

Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. This includes encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our database.
Data retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our service or as required by law.
We keep inquiry information for up to 36 months from your last activity with us. After that period, we automatically de-identify it — permanently removing your name, email address, phone number, and message — while keeping anonymised records (such as the postcode area and which scheme was selected) for service analytics. De-identified records can no longer be linked back to you.

Accessing, correcting, and erasing your information
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — request that we correct any information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
- Erasure — request that we de-identify your information, removing your name, email, phone number, and message. (We are not always able to delete information we are required by law to keep.)
To make a request, contact us at info@clearaccesspsychology.com.au. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. These requests are free of charge.
You can also stop receiving emails from us at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Making a complaint
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you can complain in writing to:
